Are you searching for something a little different from all of the other classic cars & trucks that are out there? Well, I think I have just the vehicle for you!
‘Red Hills Rods & Classics’ is very happy to offer you this absolutely beautiful 1963 Ford Ranchero Custom! Finished in the original shade of Corinthian White, wrapped around a gorgeous custom red bucket-seat interior w/ console, this little pickup is pure eye-candy folks! The restoration work was just completed within the last few weeks by the owner, who is a life-long professional mechanic here in St. George, Utah. The bodywork & paint was done first, w/ lots of time spent making sure that all of the body panels lined up perfectly w/ precise gaps. The sheet metal is super-straight all of the way around the truck, and the Corinthian White paint is bright & shiny w/ a lustrous shine. Local pinstripe master, Brian Van Houten, added two thin red & cream pinstripes down the sides, as well as custom pinstripes on the tailgate, on the hood, and around the ‘Ranchero’ logos. Custom ‘302’ emblems were mounted on both front fenders, which lets you know what is sitting under the hood, and a Longhorn Bull emblem was mounted on the fuel cap, which looks excellent. All of the chrome and stainless-steel trim is in show-quality condition throughout. She has just the right stance, sitting on 14” slotted Mustang ‘GT’ wheels, wrapped w/ new Laufenn 185/65/R14 radial tires. This is a sweet little pickup that looks absolutely great from every angle.
Open the driver’s door and you will find a beautiful custom red bucket-seat interior that was designed for comfort and functionality. Interior features include: red duramax tweed & vinyl bucket seats w/ custom Longhorn Bull emblems, two-tone black metal & red vinyl door panels w/ custom ‘Ranchero’ logos, 1963 Falcon center console, painted dashboard, original gauges w/ custom red backing plate, 1968 Mustang steering column, Grant Deluxe woodgrain steering wheel, floor-mounted B&M ratchet-shifter, original 1966 Ford air conditioning unit, custom AM/FM/Bluetooth original-style radio (looks stock), chrome control knobs, new black loop carpeting throughout, and spare wheel/tire & jack assembly behind the driver’s seat. All of the original gauges, lights, blinkers, AM/FM/Bluetooth radio, etc., are in perfect working condition, and the original Ford AC unit blows nice & cold. Please look closely at the interior photos to see how ‘clean’ this interior really is.
Pop open the hood, and you will find the Ford 302ci small-block motor (1974), lathered in Ford blue paint, featuring chrome valve covers, chrome oval air cleaner assembly w/ K&N filter, chrome power steering reservoir, chrome AC compressor, Autolite OEM 2V carburetor, PerTronix Flame-Thrower ignition, original cast-iron exhaust manifolds, and custom aluminum radiator. All of the hoses, clamps, belts, AC plumbing, battery cables, etc., are brand new throughout. The 302ci motor is linked to a Ford C4 automatic transmission (1974), which feeds power to the Ford 8” rear-end w/ 3.00 gears, and a new custom 3” dual-exhaust system w/ Turbo mufflers was installed, which sounds excellent! She fires up instantly, settling into a nice smooth idle, and she runs & drives beautifully in every way. The power steering & power brakes make driving around town effortless, and when you get her out on the freeway, she tracks straight & true. When I drove her to a local Starbucks last week, a huge crowd gathered around within minutes, snapping photos and dishing out compliments. You just don’t see these vintage Rancheros very often, and when you do, they just don’t look as nice as this one! The new owner will receive (7) folders full of itemized restoration receipts, manuals, etc., along w/ the free & clear Utah title.
Again, if you have been searching for a classic pickup that will separate you from the thousands of others out there, you will want to take a very close look at this gorgeous 1963 Ford Ranchero Custom!
