This auction is for a Michigan License plate issued for one year in 1996-96 commemorating the American Automobile Centennial (1896-1996). The plate celebrates the start-up production of 13 Duryea autos in 1896. This was Michigan's first fully reflective license plate. This plate features the seal of the American Automobile Centennial with blue banner and embossing over a gold silhouette of an early vehicle. The "World's Motor Capital" slogan runs along the bottom. The plate has double aluminum cladding, number WGX 30 that was last registered in 1997. The plate is 6" X 12" and has light scratches at the bottom of letter "X". Shipping shall be via USPS.
