    Copper Blue
Marans eggs. They originated from a small town in France named Marans, as that is where they get their name. Good quality ones are very rare in this country as only a handful of breeders have quality stock , and they are almost impossible to find. The Copper Blue Marans are a very beautifully colored bird, They are a duel purpose bird for meat or eggs. They also have a very friendly disposition. The egg color for these birds is almost as good as my Copper Blacks in the begining of there cycle and better then a lot of other sellers Copper Blacks, they are very nice brown eggs as you can see from the picture, The eggs in the picture are from the beginning of the laying cycle and are not the actual eggs you are bidding on. the eggs you receive may
vary from the picture as the tend to lighten as the laying cycle continues. Now they are ranging from 6 to 8 on the marans scale as they are in the 6th month of production, the offspring will produce the same beautiful eggs as the parents. These birds are from the Davis, Jeane and imported lines. All of my marans have to produce eggs that are at least a 4 on the marans chart at some point during the laying cycle, if not they are then culled out, All of our Marans are bred to the french standard (feathered legs etc.). We are NPIP Certified, Our registration # is KY-189. If for any reason I am unable to fill your order within the time specified, I will give the option of a full refund or waiting a few extra days.
    Copper Blue
Just a reminder, Copper Blues originate from Copper Black and Splash, so it is very possible that a small percentage will be splash, usually about two out of ten, and as always the blue gene can give various shades some appearing almost black, but most chicks will be Copper Blue.
Here are some comments from other buyers
    Dear dprather1968,
My power went out three times due to heavy rain and on one occassion it lasted 12 hours. Yet, all of the eggs hatched except for two Blue Copper Marans! I've purchased eggs before with zero hatch rate, and know the USPS delivery could not have been that reckless. Your fertility rate is truly 100%. You are a wonderful and truly honest seller. Thanks again!
    Kathleen.
My incubator has had a 100% hatch rate. I can brag because my son and I made it. And it has hatched out clutch after clutch and has NEVER had an egg not hatch. But these were my owned BBS Ameraucanas. I really thought ordering eggs off
    eBay
was going to ruin our bragging rights, even though I would have an excuse.
You sent me 10 eggs. I candled them at day 3 and again at day 4... they glow red! LOL! How do you see veins in red eggs???? LOL!
I asked the marans list what to do and they told me to wait for the air sac on day 8. OK...
I have no patience. I candle my eggs almost daily, and yes 100% hatch rate.LOL!
So I got them out this morning to candle them and about jumped for joy. There is a shadow in EVERY SINGLE EGG you sent us! All 10 have babies moving in them!!! I LOVE MY INCUBATOR!!! LOL!
Thanks Thanks Thanks and I am keeping an eye on your blue coppers!! But not till the little hand made incubator has room again!!! :o)

My eggs arrived yesterday in perfect shape!
Beautiful DARK eggs!  They are darker than most of the Black
    Coppers
    I received!
    Beautiful shape and size, too!
What are your breeding goals for your Marans?  (egg color, bird color, etc?)
    Thanks so much!
    ~Katelyn
David, you sent me a total of 21 eggs and I have 19 chicks that are growing beautifully. The Coppers are extremely vivid.

If you need any help, I will be glad to answer any questions you may have.
    TERMS & SHIPPING
Although fertility has been in the 90 to 95% range, I cannot guarantee your success. If you win one of my auctions the eggs will be individually wrapped in bubble wrap and packed in news paper and packing peanuts, I lay the eggs on there side as that is the natural way for them to rest and if the box gets turned upside down during shipping they are still in a natural state.
Any questions or special request need to be made before you bid.
I will send you fresh and fertile eggs no more than three days old at end of auction, my eggs are collected 2 to 3 times a day, turned twice a day and kept in a climate controlled room.
Once the eggs are in postal care my responsibility is over.
There are too many factors between my farm and your residence such as postal handling, weather, human error, the occasional x-ray machine, incubation practices etc. Hatching eggs are a gamble no matter who you get them from and shipping can damage them internally enough to keep them from developing even though no damage can be seen by the eye. Once again I don't make any guarantees for any hatch rates. Feedback needs to be left on the basis of quality of the eggs on arrival and packing. If shipping over the weekend is a concern, then you should not bid on any of my auctions that end on a Wednesday, Thursday or Friday, as I do ship Mon thru Friday to insure the freshest eggs possible. I myself have had eggs shipped over a weekend to me and I had just as good hatches with them as any that would have shipped on a Monday, but some folks  have the belief that that effects the hatch rate.
The eggs should reach you within two to three shipping days (USPS says priority shipping can take up to five days) once they are in the mail, but the postal service has had its share of problems lately. So if they do arrive late or get lost in the mail it is the buyers responsibility to file a claim with the Postal Service. As you will have up to in insurance on the product by using priority mail.
This is NOT A PRESALE, I accept PAYPAL ONLY. Payment needs to be made at auctions end, so your eggs can ship as soon as possible, usually the next day, but in some rare cases two days. According to
EBAY I have to accept E-Checks, but remember, if you pay with an e-check or if you pay late, you will still receive the same eggs that are earmarked for this auction, an e-check will take too long to clear and that will render the eggs infertile and I don't want that for my  buyers.
The reason for the fast pay, fast ship is that eggs are time sensitive and I want you to receive the freshest eggs possible. If for any reason the eggs can not be shipped within a couple of days you will be given the option of a full refund or waiting a few extra days for your order.
SORRY BUT WE CAN NOT SHIP TO HAWAII OR ALASKA.
Feedback will not be giving until feedback is received.  Feedback should be left upon item arrival.
Feedback should never be left on the basis of a hatch, as I can not and do not guarantee hatch rates.
IF FOR ANY REASON YOU CAN NOT ACCEPT THESE TERMS, THEN PLEASE DON'T BID.
Thank you for looking and happy bidding.
