The VETSCAN HM2 Hematology Analyzer is a fully-automated, three-part differential hematology analyzer displaying a comprehensive 18-parameter complete blood count (CBC) with three cellular histograms using white blood cells, red blood cells, and platelets in whole blood in a veterinary setting. The HM2 is an impedance-based hematology system designed specifically for veterinary in-vitro diagnostic use.
The VETSCAN VS2 is a state-of-the-art chemistry, electrolyte, immunoassay and blood gas analyzer that delivers uncompromising accuracy from just two drops of whole blood, serum or plasma. The VETSCAN VS2 is amazingly simple and intuitive, with precision reference laboratory quality results in 12 minutes - making it ideal for veterinary clinics, mobile practitioners, research laboratories, and pharmaceutical and biotech companies.
Quality Assurance Testing

by our skilled technical team. This process includes but is not limited to:
Hematology Analyzers
· Software updated · All wearable parts are checked and replaced · Enzymatic cleaning performed to remove blood proteins · Wash head cleaned · Internal tubing flushed and replaced as needed · CMOS/RTC battery replaced · Valves checked and flushed · Sampling needle checked and cleaned · Pneumatic motors and slides adjusted as needed · Control blank calibration with Abaxis control media · Stress tested · Syringe pistons replaced · All electronic and mechanical assemblies checked and tested including power supply, syringe block, sample block, measuring block, carrier block, amplifier, mother board, interconnect board, display and keypad · Diagnostic testing performed including Hb internal setting, offset adjustment, probe voltage adjustment, self-test, self-diagnostic routine, stress test and control blank calibration · All internal and external parts and assemblies cleaned and lubricated as needed with medical grade PTFE lubricant · All analyzers are brought within manufacturer's spec and then tested using whole blood
