    Description

    This wonderful, and beautiful old button hook is being offered by the family of its original owner. It belonged to my Great Grandmother, and was recently "rediscovered" amongst her treasured items.
    This is a beautiful, complete and well stored SHOE BUTTON HOOK.  It measures about 8" in total, with the lovely handle portion measuring 4 1/2". The hook metal is complete, with what appears to be an era classic design at the "neck", and is fully connected and complete.  The handle is a bakelite/celluloid material, and is an amber color, with the top insert being a mother of pearl design in a shade of yellow. This section is also complete, and I can find no flaws or chips, which, for its age, seems remarkable.
    This is an era classic, and would certainly add to any collection of this genre. It further would display beautifully! It's definitely a rare and unusual find in consideration of its age and condition.
