Description
This item is in GOOD condition. This big bore motor came out of a 2016 M8000. The only difference between the 2016 and earlier models is the secondary clutching is for the updated BOSS clutches. The rest of the kit will work on earlier M8000 models. The only part that does is not included from the Ultimate BMP kit is the Boysen Reeds. It only includes what is pictured. The engine came out of a very good running snowmobile with 1,319 miles on it. Both cylinders have 140psi of compression. The cylinders and pistons look very good from the ports. The motor does not have any cracks or leaks. The exhaut pipe has a few dents in it, and one of the mounting tabs broke off. The y pipe and can do not have any cracks or leaks. The power commander works well and the connectors are good. The secondary helix does not have any cracks or grooves. It does have a few wear marks around the mounting holes. The BMP part number for the helix is 05-TB-1. The secondary spring is orange and the primary is white. The primary weights are BMP 67-89. They have some light grooves on the weghts. The threads are good. All of the parts are used and have some scratches and wear marks. The exhaust will need new gaskets.
