    Description

I have in my possession a fantastic Kenny Hill guitar, Munich edition. Made by the famous west coast luthier, this is a stunning and very authentic reproduction of the famous 1937 Hermann Hauser I guitar of Andres Segovia (now residing in the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City). Kenny Hill's construction is based on the blueprints of this original Hauser, documented by R.E. Brune. It's has a 640mm scale and 50mm width. There is a thin crack on the front (just under the bridge) and on the back (shouldn't affect anything) of the body that was fixed immediately. They are so small and so well repaired that the camera couldn't pick them up. This particular guitars sound has matured and grown over the past few years. It sings better than when it was new. All in all, this "Hauser '37" model is a wonderful tribute to the instrument which Segovia called "the greatest guitar of our epoch".
I have a letter of appraisal from Tony Acosta at Luthier Music Corp in Manhattan, one of the most successful and trusted luthiers in the America's. Tony himself appraised this guitar at 50. He personally knows Kenny Hill and has sold many of his guitars. I would trust few others opinion.
Guitar comes with the humicase shown in the picture for a little extra.
