    Description

No.  This is not a butter bottom.  See page 36 of Keller/Ross Jadite identification book.  It is in amazing condition for a piece of McKee jadite Kitchen Glass of the mid-thirties.  It is manufactured just like the other Kitchen Glass that McKee made by combining unsold green depression glass with unsold milk glass.  There are no chips.  I have a one pound butter top and bottom so I know the difference.  As evidenced by the last photograph, the Thorium salts come from the green depression used and they evidence that the piece was made before 1942 and is not a knock off.  It ships at 2 pounds in a 12 x 6 x 2 inch box USPS Priority mail.
Please wait for my invoice because we do not know the cost of insurance until the auction is over.
