Offered here is a
Rare 1948 SUPERMAN SERIAL PRESS BOOK -
'The One & Only Superman'
with
Kirk Alyn
, Noel Neill, Tommy Bond & Carol Forman. This large format magazine style Press Book was
sent to theatre owners to promote the film. The book
is 16 pages of 'everything Superman' - from merchandise, ad slicks, promotions, Serial synopsis, articles, photos, artwork, serial posters, etc., etc. This is the ultimate in serial information, and extremely rare to boot!!
The Press Book is 12" x 16" and does have some wear from reading and storage over the years. The cover is split about 3/4 along the spine to the top staple. It is still in relatively nice condition, it came folded originally, but best of all, it has nice white pages. The edges have a very light water stain, but it doesn't really detract much being a light stain, see the photos.
