AVL (Roche) 9180 Electrolyte Analyzer System. This device has been in storage since 2016 and still has the 2016 SnapPak cartridge installed. Powers on, lights up, warms up and passes the self check at startup. Properly navigates the onscreen menus. There is a "Clog, Check Fluid Path" error on one of the screens which I believe has to do with the 5 year old SnapPak needing replaced. I also believe this unit will work fine after a new SnapPack is installed and some routine startup maintenance is completed. I do guarantee it will not be DOA.

The AVL Electrolyte Analyzer is a powerful tool designed to help you quickly, accurately and efficiently conduct basic electrolyte testing in the convenience of your own laboratory.
The AVL 9180 Electrolyte Analyzer is intended to be used for the measurement of sodium, potassium, chloride, ionized calcium and lithium in samples of whole blood, serum, plasma, urine, dialysate and aqueous standard solutions.
Condition & Testing
This machine has been in storage since 2016 and still has the 2016 SnapPak installed. This machine is in very good cosmetic condition. I plugged it in and powered it up and it immediately began a warm up and self check for a couple minutes ending with the "Ready" message on the screen. The internal green light came on during startup. I am easily able to navigate the onscreen menus without error. When trying to "Perform Daily Conditioning" I got a "Clog, Check Fluid Path" error and I believe this has to do with the old SnapPak installed? I can hear the machine cycling and the printer is working properly.  All the internal tubing looks good when the cover is lifted and it is obvious there has been no previous scavenging of parts. There are no consumables included which are required before this unit can be used. I also believe it will work fine with a fresh SnapPack and some routine startup maintenance. The operators manual is on disk.
