Works absolutely great on a home made screen frame I made for my front door (I rent and the apartment didn't have a screen door). I like to keep my front door open for ventilation, sometimes at night) and I wanted something to a) alert me if someone was opening the "door" (it's just a wood frame with screen stapled to it) and b) scare them off by the sound of the alarm. The alarm is loud, insistent and trust me no one is going to hang around with this thing going off.. I think the batteries by themselves would cost more than the entire unit. Will get more of these as the need arises.

Easy and inexpensive way to secure my daughter’s first apartment. We got one for every door and window in the three bedroom apartment she shares with friends. Love the feature that allows the user to switch between the alarm, doorbell, and off. They use the doorbell feature on the front door when they are home alone to alert them to a roommate coming in when they don’t want the screeching alarm set off. Easy to install and use but, more importantly, offers us parents peace of mind knowing these three young women who share a first floor apartment are safer because of the alarms. Good purchase for very little investment!

Returns
