Description

This is not a running engine, please read entire description. A piston skirt failure occurred at around 3800 miles in a 1998 ZR 440 Consumer (non sno-pro). Engine was completely disassembled and inspected. Crankshaft and crank bearings seem to be in good shape. No major damage to the lower case halves. One cylinder is in good shape but has a broken bolt that someone tried to remove in it, the other needs repair and replating. Both pistons are in bad shape. With one new cylinder, fixing the broken head bolt, a gasket kit, and a top end kit this engine could be a good runner. What you see is what you get, let me know if you have any questions.
